Reinforced Poly Swimming Pool Covers

There are many grades of these covers,
The Main Difference Being the Number
of Reinforcing Fibers Per Square Inch
THE BEST has a Weave of 12 x12
(12 fibers going each direction per square inch)

When ordering a new cover
It is Important to Note
that some are sold as actual "COVER SIZE"
and some as "POOL SIZE"
Both are normally available with either
a 3ft or 4ft overlap
(24ft pool size may be either a 27ft or 28ft cover size)

These Covers have traditionally used Air Pillows
in the center of the pool to support the cover.
Cable & Winch Assembly
is then employed to secure the cover
to the outside circumference of the pool.
In some parts of the country
this arrangement works fairly well,
however, High Winds may not only cause
substantial damage to the cover
but also allow all the leaves & debris
that was on top of the cover
into the pool making pool opening

Use a cover that Is One Size
Larger than normally required.

How to drain the water off your cover
without a Pool Cover Pump
Attatch your Vac Head (or another weight) to your Vac Hose
and drop it into the center of the cover then stretch out
and use your garden hose to fill the vac hose with water.
Then lay the vac hose on the gound and now you should have
a full flow of water off your cover. When the water level drops
to a level that stops the siphon function simply fold the cover
back on itself and move the weighted end of the Vac Hose
to the center of the remaining water and restart the siphon.
